The Art of Collaborative Leadership
Halifax
March 16-18, 2011 at Pottery Lane
Awakening the Power of True Collaboration
Leverage your Networks for Strategic Results
What if we could grow our courage and resilience in working with the status quo that says it wants to change but doesn't seem to know how?
This training is an opportunity to grow, support and connect with others doing amazing work in this city who are facing similar challenges so we can move beyond episodes of enthusiasm to sustainable, visible, fundamental shfits.
Expect to begin even before you come to these three days with a check-in call with the hosting team and there will be the opportunity to check-in with those who did the training with you to check on progress.
Registration details available shortly.

The Art of Hosting - Brazil
October 5-8, 2010
The challenges we live today call for deep reflection, union and action to build the world we all want to live in together. What is the world we want to co-create? What is our role in it? How can we achieve it together?
This Art of Hosting training is a dance between the inner and outer self - a connection to personal essence and then understanding how that is expressed in the world in new and powerful ways.
We will be incorporating practices from Warrior of the Heart as one form of expression in addition to drawing on key tools and resources from the Art of Hosting.
Kathy Jourdain of Shape Shift Strategies Inc. and Bob Wing of Wise Actiions join Brazilian hosts Tamara Azevedo, Thomas Ufer, Maria Barretto and Narjara Thamiz. If you feel so inspired, please join us.
The Art of Social Innovation
Held April 27-30, 2010 at Windhorse Farm
Kathy Jourdain and Shape Shift Strategies Inc. were part of the hosting team, along with Tim Merry, Sera Thompson and Tenneson Woolf, for the first ever Art of Social Innovation: Awakening the Power of Core Teams, Participatory Leadership for Strategic Results.
The calling of this training and practice ground arose out of the large scale, long term work that members of the hosting team are engaged in, here in Nova Scotia and elsewhere. We were pleased to welcome teams from Brazil, Australia, the US and France and Canada and also individuals seeking to grow their knowledge of Social Innovation.
This training and practice ground was rooted in the Art of Hosting family of facilitation and leadership practices.
Speaking out for Haiti raised an amazing $34,000 for Haiti relief through the Red Cross. Shape Shift was proud to deliver one of the 12 keynote presentations to the 130 people who registered for this incredible day of education and community.
